Something special happened at Stoneleigh Park last October. Already the UK’s largest bioenergy event, ebec – the european bioenery expo and conference – took a major leap forward nearly doubling in size and increasing its attendance of decision makers by over 142%.
Fuelled by a huge investment programme that ensured the delivery of over 100 FREE cutting edge seminars and case-studies in six separate seminar theatres, a brand new website and a dramatically increased promotional budget, ebec was catapulted into a different league.
Now in its seventh year and featuring over 200 exhibitors from across the sector, ebec has unquestionably established itself as the definitive flagship event for bioenergy in the UK.
Of course, we don’t claim all the credit! As well as working in close partnership with key industry bodies such as The Renewable Energy Association (REA) and the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS), ebec was backed by over two dozen media and association partners.
These partnerships ensured that we spread the message far and wide about the world class faculty of speakers and industry leaders, as well as the sparkling array of exhibitors and suppliers at the show.

This year ebec features nextgen - a showcase for the future of energy generation, and is co-located with microgen. The overall effect is a broad-based renewables energy event ideal for assessing technology options, suppliers, learning and networking.
